Terms of Service

SurePay holds a buyer's payment in escrow once a deal is created, and releases it to the seller only after the buyer confirms the item or service was delivered as described, or after the buyer's confirmation window passes without a dispute being raised.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Ghanaian law.
• Sellers must complete Ghana Card identity verification before receiving payouts.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.

SurePay charges a success-only fee on completed deals, shown before you confirm payment. There is no fee on deals that don't complete. Current rates are shown in-app and may change with notice.

If a buyer and seller disagree about a deal, either party can open a dispute before funds release. SurePay reviews evidence from both sides and issues a fair outcome — release to seller, refund to buyer, or a split — based on the deal terms and evidence provided.

• No illegal goods or services, counterfeit items, or scams.
• No attempting to circumvent escrow (e.g. asking the other party to pay outside SurePay).
• No abusive behavior toward other users or SurePay staff.
• No manipulating the Trust Score system, for example by trading with your own accounts.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, is linked to fraud, or poses a risk to other users, with funds handled per applicable regulation and any open disputes.

SurePay facilitates and mediates transactions between buyers and sellers but is not a party to the underlying sale. We're not liable for the quality, legality, or delivery of goods and services exchanged between users, beyond our escrow and dispute-resolution obligations.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.
